The Australian Securities Exchange’s CIO and group technology executive, Jeff Olsson, will leave the organization in July.

BELGIUM

Plastics supplier A. Schulman has announced that Wim Nagels has been appointed information technology director, Europe.

CANADA

Mining company First Majestic Silver has appointed Martin Palacios to the position of CIO.

FRANCE

Henri Notaise is the new CIO of documents management company Everial.

Jean-François Berthier has been promoted to CIO at the government-controlled financial institution Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations.

The AIFE (the government agency for financial technology) has appointed Régine Diyani as its new head.

Contact center specialist B2S has named Christophe Lemée as its new CIO and director of innovation.

GERMANY

Confectionary company Lekkerland has appointed Michael Müller-Wünsch as SVP of corporate IT.

Matthias Mehrtens has been named as the new VP of information systems at cleaning equipment manufacturer Kärcher.

Manufacturing and consulting group Fischer has appointed Jörg Beckmann as its new CIO.

INDIA

Defence, security and aerospace specialist BAE Systems has promoted its group CIO Dean McCumiskey to managing director and chief executive of its India operations.

NEW ZEALAND

NZ Lotteries Board has appointed former CIO Wayne Pickup to succeed Todd McLeay as its chief executive.

UK

Andy Nelson has been named as the new UK government CIO, replacing Joe Harley who announced his retirement late last year. Nelson will take over the role at the end of March, and continue in his current position as CIO of the Ministry of Justice.

Customer loyalty specialist dunnhumby has appointed Yael Cosset, previously the CEO of KSS Retail, as its global CIO.

The group IT director of Volkswagen UK, Nick Gaines, has left to join Ultra Electronics Nuclear Control Systems as managing director.

US

Retail giant Walmart, the world’s biggest company by sales, has promoted Karenann Terrell to the role of CIO. She replaces Rollin Ford, who has been promoted to chief administrative officer.

MidSouth Bank has named Lorin LeBlanc as its new CIO.

Anthony Schlinsog, CIO of the Kansas Department of Transportation, has filled the newly created chief IT officer post for the state of Kansas.

Ellie Mae, a supplier of automation solutions for the residential mortgage industry, has announced that David Robins will be joining as CIO.

Bryant University has named Chuck LoCurto, former EVP and CIO of Textron Financial Corp, as its CIO.
