The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has appointed Antoine Shagoury of the American Stock Exchange as CIO, replacing David Lester, who has been promoted to CEO of LSEs recently acquired Turquoise pan-European trading venture.

In Chicago, The Options Clearing Corp has announced that Raymond Tamayo has joined as CIO.

The former COO at RSA Insurance Group UK, Christian Torkington, is taking over as group information and operations director at Standard Life, while Brit Insurance has announced the appointment of Ian Powell to the newly created role of CIO. Meanwhile, UK banking veteran Tony Bentham has joined Bradford & Bingley as IT chief.
